Usage
Pour 4 litres of water into a deep saucepan, add salt to taste (optional), and bring to a brisk boil. Drop 500 g pasta into boiling water and stir to separate pieces. Briefly cover with a lid until the water boils again. Cook uncovered in fast boiling water for 5 – 8 minutes until barely tender (al dente). Remove from heat and drain in a colander or sieve. To serve hot: Serve immediately with your favourite sauce or topping. To serve cold: Immediately after draining, rinse the pasta under cold water. Drain well and mix with a drizzle of oil. Allow pasta to cool before serving.
